1. Is the Government finally beginning to realise that pads and tampons are not luxury items? A petition to remove GST from pads and tampons has surpassed 20,000 signatures.

2. How big is Taiwan's ruling that it will allow same-sex marriage? It's pretty monumental, as it's the first country in Asia to legalise same-sex marriage.
